Welcome to My Website

Link to CIS515 Projects

My name is Braxton Kneip and I am a student at DMACC studying computer information systems. I am currently learning about programming and web development. I am interested in technology, but more specifically web development. This website is part of my CIS515 Full Stack Web Design course.

Outside of school, I enjoy working out and staying active. Fitness is something that I have been interested in for a long time. I also enjoy learning about computers and technology. One of my goals for this course is to become more comfortable creating websites and understanding how the different parts of a website work together. I am starting with basic HTML and will continue adding CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and back-end features.

Throughout this course, I will use this website to organize some of the projects and assignments that I complete. I want the website to be simple to use and easy to understand. As I learn more about web development, I will continue improving the design and adding more features to the website.

I also hope that the skills I learn in this class will help me with future programming and technology classes. Learning how to create a website from the beginning is something I think will be useful because it gives me experience with both the technical and creative sides of web development.

Another purpose of my website is for it to be a portfolio for the work I complete throughout this semester. That way I can keep all of my homework and assignments organized and in one place. That will allow me to look back at the website and see the skills I have developmened and expanded on over time. It will also allow other people to see the progress I have made and to view my projects.

As I continue throughout this course, I hope that this website keeps expandind and changing as I build my Web Development skills. Right now I am utilizing Bootstrap to style my pages. I will continue to add more features as time passes. I am exctied to see my finished project and see all of the work paid off in the end.
